Between Grey and Linen
A layered window treatment that balances texture, light and quiet contrast.
The beauty of this curtain scheme lies in its subtle layering. A 100% linen sheer filters the daylight with a natural lightness, while the main drapery introduces depth through its textured weave and fuller folds. Together, the two layers create a calm and elegant composition that feels both refined and inviting.
Woven in a blend of wool, acrylic, cotton and polyester, the drapery has a soft structure and a relaxed natural character. Set against the airy linen sheer, the contrast between grey and linen tones brings warmth and balance to the room, gently complementing the surrounding palette rather than overpowering it.
Finished with a black track above, the window gains a crisp architectural line that frames the curtains with quiet precision. The result is a look that feels timeless, tactile and beautifully composed for everyday living.

Curtain Stack-Back Guide
When curtains are fully open, the fabric gathers to the sides of the window. This space is known as the stack-back.
The amount of space required depends on the heading style, fabric weight, and total track width.
As a general guide:
- Double Pinch Pleat: approx. 25–30% of total track width (split on both sides)
- Wave Curtains: approx. 20–25%, but require additional space for the wave track system
- Heavier fabrics will create a deeper stack
To ensure the curtains clear the window fully when open, we recommend extending the track 15–30cm beyond the window on each side, especially for wave curtains.
