Welcome to HIBO. This website is operated by HIBO, a UK-based brand offering bespoke, made-to-measure curtains and soft furnishings. By accessing or using any part of our site, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before placing an order or using any of our services.
1. Use of Website
By using this site, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your country or region, or that you have given us consent to allow your minor dependents to use this website.
You agree not to use our website or services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose or in violation of any laws in your jurisdiction.
2. Custom Products Policy
All HIBO curtains are custom-made to your specifications. Once production has started or your order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged. Please ensure all product details—such as measurements, fabric selection, colour, and design—are correct before confirming your order.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or limit sales at our sole discretion, particularly in cases of suspected misuse or reselling.
3. Order Cancellation & Refunds
We offer a 24-hour unconditional cancellation window. If you wish to cancel your order for any reason, please email info@hibo.uk within 24 hours of placing your order to receive a full refund.
After this period, your order will proceed to production and cannot be cancelled or refunded.

4. Accuracy of Product Information
We make every effort to ensure all product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate. However, colours and textures displayed on screen may vary slightly depending on your device.
We reserve the right to correct any errors or inaccuracies and to change product or pricing details without prior notice.
5. Warranty & Faulty Items
All HIBO window dressing products come with a 3-year warranty under reasonable residential use. This warranty covers manufacturing faults and installation-related issues.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, fabric fading or colour changes caused by direct sunlight, humidity, improper cleaning, or changes resulting from customer-supplied measurements.
If you notice a fault or installation-related issue, please contact us within 14 days of installation so that we can assess the matter and arrange a suitable resolution where applicable.
For furniture and other soft furnishing items, warranty terms may vary depending on the product type and supplier.
6. Measurement Service Terms
We offer an optional in-home measurement service in London and Cambridge. The first visit costs £120 including VAT in London and £200 including VAT in Cambridge. From the second order onwards, the service is free in London and £120 including VAT in Cambridge.
The measurement service fee is charged separately, is not deductible from the final order value, and is non-refundable once the visit has been booked or completed.
Our End-to-End Service includes professional measuring before production.
All HIBO curtains and blinds are handmade to order. Due to the nature of handcrafted production and fabric characteristics, finished measurements may vary by approximately 0.3–0.5 cm. This is considered a normal tolerance and not a product fault.
Customers who provide their own measurements are responsible for ensuring that they are accurate and complete. HIBO is not responsible for sizing or fitting issues caused by inaccurate or incomplete customer-supplied measurements. Alterations or remakes may incur additional charges.
Roman blinds require a small fitting clearance on each side. Slight side gaps and light leakage are therefore normal and are not considered measurement errors or product faults.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
7. Photography & Project Documentation
Following installation, HIBO may take photographs or videos of the completed project, focusing only on the curtains or blinds we have supplied.
Selected content may be used on our website, social media or other marketing channels. We will take reasonable steps to avoid showing customers, personal belongings, addresses or any other identifying information.
If you do not consent to public use, please inform our team before or during installation. The content will then be used only for internal training and quality-control purposes and will not be published publicly.
If you do not wish any photographs or videos to be taken, please notify us before installation.
8. Third-Party Tools & Services
Certain services or tools on our website may be provided by third parties (such as payment processors, delivery companies, or marketing tools). We are not responsible for any issues arising from the use of third-party services.
Use of such services is at your own risk and subject to their individual terms.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including text, graphics, logos, product images, and layout—is the intellectual property of HIBO and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without prior written permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HIBO is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our website or services.
Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the product or service in question.
11. Privacy
Your submission of personal information through this website is governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with UK GDPR regulations.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without affecting any rights you may have as a consumer to bring proceedings in your local courts.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update or modify these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will become effective immediately upon posting. It is your responsibility to review this page regularly. Continued use of our website and services implies acceptance of any updates.
